Embracing failure as a stepping stone, not a stumbling block. ❤️
At the start – I’ve failed more times than I’ve succeeded, and that’s exactly how I’ve managed to do pretty well in sales. Failure isn’t a mark of incompetence; it’s an inevitable part of the process.
The real magic is really learning how to fail well. So… what’s Failing Well? It’s not about wallowing in self-pity or regret. ☹️ It’s about dissecting the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ behind each stumble, treating each failure as a crucial point of reflection that propels you forward, not a dead-end.
For example – if you did badly during a sales pitch, it’s perfectly normal to get that sinking feeling of defeat. That cringe. That painful sting. 💔 But instead of spiraling into self-criticism or sweeping it under the rug because of “how cringe it is, how painful it seems, face that pain head-on 💪.
″It requires much more character to fail, change, and then succeed than to just succeed” – Ray Dalio
On the flip side… “The worst are those who fail and don’t recognize it and don’t change.” – Ray Dalio
So if you ever find yourself in difficult situations or failed a sale, have courage. Have faith. Review that recording, dissect the pitch. See how you can do better. Every second of that setback, is a gold mine for your improvement.
